Assumed that you called an engineer from your service provider on a particular day, you took a day off from your work and they didn’t turn up. What should you do if you can’t take another day off and are only available in the evenings or they give you an extensive date and you can’t wait that long. Sometimes, they advise you to call your local engineer to rectify or report a fault to them and they reimburse charges that you give to your local engineer this way nothing comes out of your own pocket and your job is done without waiting.
tip 2:
Do not change your Internet Telephone Service Provider without consulting your local Telephone Engineer (like us) or your own service provider, there may be a fault in your internal wiring or Sockets. Besides BT most of the telephone service providers like Sky, TalkTalk, Tiscali supply ADSL connection via BT telephone line, Virgin Media on Cable with their own separate phone line. Problems could occur in their equipments but if there is a problem in BT main line then services by other providers could suffer too.
tip 3:
You May be experiencing slow internet that could be due to your PC or laptop. Check your broadband with Speed test such as speedtest.net Its not always true that you will get full download and upload speed as you may find various speed test results differs depending on localities distance from Telephone exchange and the peak or off peak time you are surfing.
